While on our cruise last week, we were able to help assemble Hope kits. These kits will be used in the US to help people in need. Women getting out of abusive situations, homeless people, etc. We were able to put together 7,000 kits in just under 3 hours!
The service projects we do as part of our Passport vacations are my favorite.
The Hope Kits included shampoo/body wash, lotion, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, a razor, a comb, a bracelet and a note of encouragement from those of us who assembled each one.
Corporate planned for it to take days to finish this task, they know better. When we are all together we are all hands on deck!
